VISATON CONCORDE MK III

The CONCORDE MK III 3-way system may not be able to fly, but in terms of sound, it really soars.

The mere shape and the drivers used give an idea of its qualities. The tailored baffle in the medium to high-frequency range produces optimised omni-directional sound distribution one of the reasons why the sound distribution throughout the room is so smooth. Arranging all the drivers according to the D'Appolito principle, reduces interference from floor and ceiling reflection. Two AL 200 aluminium bass drivers join forces to produce profound and yet precise bass reproduction thanks to the extra-large, flow-optimised bass reflex tube. The 2 x AL 130 mid-range speakers guarantee crisp mid-range sounds as a result of their stiff cones, long stroke and impedance control ring. 

At the top end is the innovative KE 25 SC ceramic tweeter, which has been incorporated using a sophisticated crossover arrangement to optimise timing. This sophisticated design of tweeter can be wired up to blend in from a very low level and, as with all the other drivers, produces extremely distortion-free sound even at high volume settings. 

The completely neutral tonality and the remarkable dynamic characteristics of the CONCORDE MK III, make it an all-round talent for discerning listeners of all types of music.

To compliment the loudspeaker kits, we offer an ever-expanding range of cabinets.

The CONCORDE MK III cabinets are supplied in four different options as shown below, all are fully CNC machined and rebated from 18mm  MDF.

Flat-pack option:

Cabinets supplied as a self-assembly flat-pack in either plain mdf or pre-veneered mdf of your choice. Both options are fully machined and rebated which means that the components all slot together very easily, just needing to be glued with the PVA wood adhesive that is provided. All the necessary holes and rebates for the drive units are pre-machined so you can assemble the cabinets without having any wood-work skills.

Factory built option:

Cabinets are supplied fully assembled eliminating the need for you to undertake any construction. The plain mdf cabinets are supplied assembled but unfinished ready for you to apply your own paint finish and fit the drive units etc,.
The veneered cabinets are supplied assembled and lacquered to a furniture finish. We can fit all the drive units, crossovers etc, to these veneered cabinets at no extra charge so your loudspeakers are fully built and ready to plug and play.
