Composite cone mid/bass, built on Morel's patent Uniflow aluminium diecast chassis, with 3" large Hexatech underhung aluminium voice coil, and sturdy gold plated terminals.
Hybrid Neodymium /  Ferrite magnet system, Titanium coil bobbin providing high power handling, high X-max, low Qts and Fs, and high Qms.
The use of the Titanium coil bobbin has an influence on the acoustical parameters of the drive unit, it's power handling and the reproduced sound quality. Titanium also allowed Morel's engineers to raise the Qms of the driver, giving a wider selection of enclosure types and sizes along with a more precise bass reproduction.
