One of VISATON's best loudspeaker systems, the VOX 253 MHT employs the excellent MHT 12 ribbon tweeter with 2 x AL 130 midrange and one sidemounted TIW 250 XS 10 inch bass unit. Which creates a superbly well balanced and enormously powerful loudspeaker system. 

Characteristics and sound properties 
Due to the deep starting frequency of the MHT 12 it is possible to make use of this magnetostat in the VOX 253. Fortunately, the AL 130's only have to be separated slightly higher, which means we are still a long way from the baffle resonance levels. Here too, the transfer frequency is 3000 Hz. As can be seen from the dotted frequency curves for the individual drivers, the AL 130 drop off at 2000 Hz and the MHT 12 at 4500 Hz and meet again at 3000 Hz and -6 dB. The MHT12 need not by any means produce its full output at 3000 Hz, as some people often believe. This would not make sense in terms of achieving the lowest possible distortion factor.

To compliment the loudspeaker kits, we offer an ever-expanding range of cabinets.

The VOX 753 cabinets are supplied in four different options as shown below, all are fully CNC machined and rebated from 18mm  MDF.

Flat-pack option:

Cabinets supplied as a self-assembly flat-pack in either plain mdf or pre-veneered mdf of your choice. Both options are fully machined and rebated which means that the components all slot together very easily, just needing to be glued with the PVA wood adhesive that is provided. All the necessary holes and rebates for the drive units are pre-machined so you can assemble the cabinets without having any wood-work skills.

Factory built option:

Cabinets are supplied fully assembled eliminating the need for you to undertake any construction. The plain mdf cabinets are supplied assembled but unfinished ready for you to apply your own paint finish and fit the drive units etc,.
The veneered cabinets are supplied assembled and lacquered to a furniture finish. We can fit all the drive units, crossovers etc, to these veneered cabinets at no extra charge so your loudspeakers are fully built and ready to plug and play.
