NEW Carbon Paper Cone Mid/Bass

The 18w 8545.01 is an improved version of the highly praised 18w8545.00 with a new aluminium chassis, updated cone and new spider assembly.These updates improve mechanical stability and sound performance.
18w8545.01 is a 6" mid/bass unit utilising a carbon paper cone, which is impregnated and coated to dampen the resonance normally associated with stiff cones.

The patented SD-1 magnet system is designed to almost eliminate modulation and dynamic distortion, whilst the low loss linear suspension and rubber surround combines dynamic linearity and low colouration.

The voice coil uses a non-conducting Kapton former, which improves resolution in the mid/bass area.
